Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler is known to be one of the cruelest people who ever lived. The reason that they say all of this is because he was the cause of the Holocaust and World War II. The Holocaust was the time during World War II that millions and millions of Jews were killed and tortured through concentration camps, being beaten, shot, and many other cruel ways, and it all was caused by one man.
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in Braunau am Inn, Austria. He was the 4th of 6 children to Alois Hitler and Klara Polzl. When Adolf Hitler was 3 years old his family and him had moved from Austria to Germany for no told reason. Hitler was also known as a child to have a lot of fights with his father over many things, some say this is one of the reasons he was so cold. Also, another reason he lost feeling was the death of his younger brother,Edmund, in 1900, after that he just became detached and depressed. Hitler was also a really good artist and loved it with a passion, in which his father disapproved, instead he wanted him to study business. In addition to art, Adolf started showing passion in German nationalism, it first started showing when he rejected the authority of Austria-Hungary.
Later on, in 1903 Hitler's father, Alois had suddenly died of not listed reason. Two years later in 1905, Hitler had dropped out of school and moved to Vienna and became a casual laborer and a water-color painter. Hitler started getting so passionate about art that he had applied at the Academy of Fine Arts twice, and was declined both times. After his rejection Hitler became poor and later ended up having to move into a homeless shelter.

When World War I broke out Hitler stepped up to help out his country and applied for the German army and was accepted not long after applying. To be honest Hitler was not in a lot of the front lines of the war, but was present in a good bit of them, one of which where he was wounded in the Battle of Somme and he was rewarded with the Iron Cross First Class and the Black Wound Badge. Hitler became bitter after the collapse of Germany's forces and was really shocked and felt betrayed after he found out that Germany surrendered, but this only fueled his German Nationalism.
After the war was over, Hitler had moved to Munich where he still continued working for the German Army as an intelligence officer. While monitoring the activities of the German Nationalist Party (DAP), Hitler started adopting their Anti-Semitic, nationalist, and Anti-Marxist ideas. In 1919 Hitler was invited to join the DAP party, in which he did the same year.
To increase the parties appeal, the DAP changed their name to the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or NSDAP for short, and Hitler even designed the symbol for the party which was a red flag with a white circle in the middle with a Swastika in the middle of the circle. Hitler started getting more and more popularity after he started having speeches against the Treaty of Versailles. Hitler was made chairman of the NSDAP in 1921, replacing the man who invited him to join.
On November 8, 1923, Adolf Hitler and the SA interrupted a public meeting in a large beer hall in Munich with about 3,000 people inside. Hitler was arrested three days later and sent to prison for treason, but this wasn't the end of him. While Hitler was in prison he wrote his famous book named "Mein Kampf" or "My Struggle". His book told about his plan to transform the German Society into based on one race.

Hitler started his rise to power by running for presidency against Paul von Hindenburg in 1932, but he came in 2nd in both times he ran. His running gave him a strong German fan-base that also helped him a lot. Hindenburg wanted to even out the political balance, because of this he appointed Adolf Hitler as the head Chancellor. As Chancellor, Hitler made a lot of changes to the government by changing the government to a de facto legal Dictatorship, which made the people of Germany pretty much prisoners by taking away their basic rights and allowed detention without trial. What he pretty much did was made all of the other parties and parts of the government obsolete and worthless.
By doing this Hitler had power over the Legislative and Executive powers. By July 14, 1933, all of the other political parties were intimidated by Hitler's rein so they were disbanded and the Nazi party was made the national party over all government. After Hindenburg's death in August 1934, Hitler was finally made the president of Germany and all powers.
Hitler was all about the Germans being the best and most healthy race of all, so it was now illegal for Germans to eat or drink anything unhealthy such as alcohol and meat. Hitler also started giving all Jewish people less and less rights first by making illegal for non-Jewish people to marry Jewish people, then by
