The Jews During WWII Holocaust
The Jews, during the Holocaust, had it the worst. They were pulled apart from their families, and were grouped with people they had never met. They had to have their hair shaved off, and wore striped clothes that looked like pajamas. They also had to wear a star, that showed everyone they were Jews. Having to wear the star caused others to treat them poorly and think of them as nothing. They were abducted from their home lives, and worst of all the rest of the world was told, through propaganda, that the camps were fun, families reunited for dinner, and nothing bad could happen. The first camp was built in 1933 and the war ended in 1945. I can't even begin to imagine how I would feel if 12 years of my life was wasted in a horrible camp. It is not understandable how someone could claim the right to put another person's life on hold. How could someone take the life of so many people, and have no consequences? Some people are so cold hearted that they find pleasure in ruining the lives of other people. Included in these cold hearted people is a man by the name of Adolf Hitler. He was a leader in Germany during WWll. He was basically a celebrity in the 1900's and became famous overnight. There are some Jews that survived the Holocaust and lived to tell their stories. Some of these people are Tom Lantos, Primo Levi, Ruth Westheimer, and Elie Wiesel. The most sad part of all of this is the Jews that survived had to live with the memories of what they saw, and what they had to do. It was burned in their memory, and will be there until they die. Also, everyone who has ever heard about what happened to the Jews will continue to remember what they went through.
